- How does Ultimate Body compare to 24 Hour, Lifetime and LA Fitness?
There are certainly some advantages to the larger gyms such as an endless supply of equipment and very late operating hours, however, if you have no real idea how to use that equipment and if no one requires that you show up each day to train, what good is it? At Ultimate Body, you won't get lost in the crowd and by the time you finish the Body Transformation Program, you will have as mush knowledge about weight training, cardio and nutrition as most of the trainers that work in these larger gyms. These large gyms do provide a great place for maintenance after you have the body you want. In fact, Ultimate Body has been contacted more than once by representatives of the bigger gyms wanting us to agree to send our clients to them after we help them through the hard part of actually rebuilding their bodies. Of course we don't do that. If you decide that you want to really transform your body in 20 weeks, this is the way. The big gyms are probably best suited to maintaining your re-built body.
There are usually "joiners fees" as well as " long term contracts" and endless automatic debits to your checking account or credit card with these mega-gyms. There is an endless assortment of trainers who may be there from week to week or who may not be. The per-session fee for training is usually very high and very generalized instead of focused on your goals. The atmosphere can be anything from calm and un-motivational to a meat market where some people are only there to get dates. At Ultimate-Body there simple, 20 week contracts, no hidden charges, period. People who choose to train at Ultimate-Body become a member of a group of others who are interested in one thing: success.
- Don't I just need to hire a personal trainer?
You certainly can get good results with a trainer, provided that they are very experienced and capable. However, it is important to remember that most trainers have an average of 12 to 20 clients on average. At Ultimate Body Studios, our trainers regularly train over 180 clients a day. Training that many clients means that the UB trainers are well versed in fitness and very proficient in helping people just like you reach your goals as quickly as possible.
Another consideration is the cost involved. Personal training sessions can cost $65 or more per session. If you consider that at UB you will meet and train with us 100 to 120 times during the program, it is clear that the cost of personal training is much, much more expensive.
- How does Ultimate-Body Studio compare to other personal training gyms?
Although there are some great personal training gyms out there, most of them are focused just on personal training. If they do have some sort of a similar program, they generally lack the experience and time tested results that we have. Beware of many copycat programs out there that have magically started popping up (one of them even recently changing their name to nearly duplicate the Ultimate Body studio and another promoting an Ultimate "Physique" Transformation and even another that has combined Ron's Ultimate Body Program and his Boot Camp into a class they call "Ultimate Body Boot Camp").They have neither the experience nor the years of effort refining this particular program. Any similar programs are recent inventions and are not likely to be nearly as effective.
These gyms usually focus just on personal training and have everything to gain if they can keep selling you on more and more expensive sessions. At Ultimate-Body, we want you to succeed and then begin a maintenance program that will keep you in shape. You will do this maintenance program on your own, drawing from the knowledge you gained while in the program.
Some of these gyms make their services seem affordable by cutting their sessions in half. In other words, training sessions may be only $25 but that is only for 30 minutes or less of a real workout (then you get to do 30 minutes of cardio on your own.) If you want a real hour long session, you pay more. At Ultimate-Body, you pay much, much less.
You also have the added problem of other people training in the gym at the same time as you who are on a completely different path than you are in trying to reach your goals. Some gyms let their clients come in at any time to do cardio which is distracting and can break the focus required to get incredible results. At Ultimate-Body, only a limited number of other people who are in your specific class will be in the gym. No one else may come in and do cardio etc. It is all about you and your goals while you are at Ultimate-Body.
Many of these gyms include trainers of various skill levels. Some have too little experience to try and tackle your needs and others just do it as a part time job and are not dedicated to your success. At Ultimate-Body, Ron Lyons oversees the entire program. He is Cooper Certified and has years of experience administering his own unique program. There are other trainers who work for Ron. These trainers are carefully selected and trained to lead you onto success.
- How does Ultimate-Body compare to fitness facilities such as the YMCA or the new city fitness center?
The YMCA and other not-for-profit community based fitness facilities are great, but they simply do not offer training like this. They serve a great need within the community which is basically affordable family based fitness facilities. They also offer various cardio type classes and after-school programs for kids. This may be a great option for you to continue your maintenance mode training after reaching your goals at Ultimate-Body. These options, however, simply can't compare to the complete rebuilding of your body that can ba achieved at Ultimate Body Studios.
Well, the big selling point for these places is a so-called "private workout" meaning that you move from room to room, by yourself, thereby avoiding being "judged" by others. The problem is that you have no sense of "team" and no comradere at all. There is no trainer in the room with you except for maybe on just your initial sessions. At Ultimate Body, this is a team approach and each person in your class is there to support you, encourage you and help you succeed. Each of your sessions is carefully supervised by an experienced Fitness Specialist. Remember to take a look at the trainers at each facility you consider. Do they walk the walk or just talk the talk? Beware of these places where the staff doesn't look like what you would want to look like. Is the place operated by people who are just looking to make money or by people who have a sincere interest in your own success? The choice is clear at Ultimate Body. The results that we have heard of from former clients of these facilities simply never compares to the Ultimate Body Transformations we regularly achieve.
You won't have to worry about that at Ultimate Body Studios. We have one specialty and that is transforming bodies. The people who go through this program are just like you, they need to change and have decided that this is the best program for reaching their goals. Some of our clients are in excess of 400 pounds. Many of them have never worked out before but that isn't an obstacle at Ultimate Body. In fact, we excell at helping the beginner or novice achieve a whole new body!
We have many class times available from 4:20 AM and we go til 9:00 PM. With a little effort and planning, you can make one of these times work. In the end, you will be glad you did. Also, if there is a time that you would like to do a class, but it is not listed, call us to request it. With just a few people, we will make it happen.
